This young woman in her mid-twenties lost almost 120 pounds with diet and exercise. Since then, she has been bothered by the sag of her arms and sides of her chest. An armplasty would work nicely to remove the sag of her arms. On the side of her chest, there is excess skin in two different directions. With a scar going mostly vertical and extending to beneath the breasts, we will be able to remove the excess skin only in the transverse direction. I explained that if she wants wrinkling in the vertical direction improved, then a bra line back lift would be necessary. With her lateral chest excision, we tried to accomplish as much as possible hoping that the bra line back lift would not be necessary. She is seen four months after surgery extremely pleased with the contour and minimal remaining laxity.
