This Newport News Virginia man in his late thirties weighed as much as 460 pounds at one time. After a 220-pound weight loss he was left with an extreme amount of excess skin around his midsection as well as sagging breast tissue. He underwent an extended abdominoplasty to remove the skin on his stomach and around his flanks. In a separate procedure he had very extensive gynecomastia surgery to remove skin on and around his chest area. Although he was left with long scars, it was necessary to remove the amount of skin that he needed, and he feels like it was well worth the tradeoff.
