This Virginia Beach woman in her mid-thirties wanted a Mommy Makeover procedure to improve her size and shape following 2 pregnancies. Her main concern was the excess skin on her abdomen and the size of her breasts. A Mommy Makeover is a very customized surgery because each woman has different goals and pregnancy can change the body in many ways.Because her tummy tuck was quite extensive, it was not possible to perform the breast surgery on the same day. She had a breast reduction(Case 935)first and then her abdominoplasty several days later. There was some excess fat removed from her hip rolls, but the amount of liposuction was limited by the large amount of skin removed during the abdominoplasty.Although her scar needed to be extended along her sides, we were able to design it to fit beneath her underwear. She is extremely pleased with her new shape.
