This 45-year-old woman had breast implants placed in 2005. Over the years she gained a little weight and has noticed that her implants (especially the right) fall to the side when she exercises her upper body. She wanted to be smaller and have her right implant repositioned. I explained that when smaller implants are placed, we usually have to close off the pocket on the sides and below, so the new smaller implants are in a better position. Therefore, we performed capsulorrhapies on both sides which is using sutures to close off part of the pocket and reposition the implants. Her old implants of 345cc and 325cc were replaced with 225cc on both sides. She is extremely happy with her shape and size.
