This 37 year old Virginia Beach patient had previously undergone breast augmentation with a purse string lift by another surgeon. Years later, she came to me for consultation to discuss her results that she felt were less than optimal. Although her left implant appeared higher, this was not a concern to her. She wanted her nipples to be higher and her areolas smaller. I explained that if we left the scar only around the areola, we could get a nice improvement but the nipples would not be in the perfect position especially on the left. After a thorough discussion about improving her results, she opted for this plan and by repeating her purse string breast lift, her areolas are better positioned and more optimal in size.
