This 33-year-old Norfolk woman underwent breast augmentation a year earlier, hoping that the implants alone would provide the fuller look she desired. However, she was bothered by the persistent sag. Since she was also able to stop smoking, she could now safely undergo a full lift. I performed a vertical lift which is much more powerful at correcting sag on the underside of the breasts. A total of 44 grams of tissue was removed on the left and 51 grams on the right. Notice the slight amount of areola skin along the scar beneath the areola on the right. Since her areolas were so large, not all of the areola skin could be removed. She is very pleased with her new shape that will last for many years.
