This Virginia Beach woman in her mid-forties had a breast lift with placement of gel implants 20 years ago. Her records from the surgeon were not available. However, on exam it became evident that her lift was likely an old technique of skin tightening that did not hold up and she suffered quite significant bottoming out. In her revision surgery, she chose to replace her implants with saline. The result would be very similar with the benefit of not having to replace her implants every 10 years. A vertical breast lift was performed, removing the most hanging breast tissue. Looking at her side view, the improvement is most noticeable as one can see the lower part of the breast is at a much higher level on her chest. She is extremely happy with the improvement in shape and appearance of her breasts, as well as the natural feel.
