This Virginia Beach woman in her mid-sixties wanted to have a facelift with a very natural result. During our very detailed consultation I discussed the three ways that everyone ages- sagging, wrinkling, and sinking in or hollowing. Her facelift was customized to her areas of aging to achieve the natural, rested, and healthy look she desired. Her most obvious sign of aging was sinking in and therefore her greatest improvement would be fat injections to those areas of hollowing. It is now over four months after her facelift, brow lift, lower lid blepharoplasty and fat injections to several areas including the temples, areas around the eye, cheekbones, beneath the cheekbones, the angle of the jaw especially on the right, the depressed areas beneath her lower lip and the chin area. Fat injections done properly are always very natural looking and after 4 months it is unlikely that she will lose any of the injected fat. Notice she has a crease beneath the corner of her mouth which fat does not completely correct. I recommend that patients have dermal filler to this area after surgery.
